New home for startups in Wollongong
The University of Wollongong's iAccelerate Centre has officially opened, providing space for more than 280 entrepreneurs. The purpose-built centre is located on the University's Innovation Campus in North Wollongong, and provides a range of tailored acceleration programs for technology-focussed businesses. Although the iAccelerate centre has only recently opened, the program has been operating since 2012, and has so far supported 65 startups. Phoenix sign Manly young gun Parkhouse
Phoenix boss Ernie Merrick spotted Parkhouse when he went to watch Manly play Apia Leichhardt after his side's Westfield FFA Cup defeat to Western Sydney Wanderers earlier this month. The 23-year-old has signed a one-year deal with Phoenix after spending a week training with the club.
